UCM and its component companies have been recognized hundreds of times for outstanding performance in the construction industry. Some of our more significant recognitions are:

Asphalt Paving Awards
In the past 40 years we received 30 asphalt paving awards, from Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), for the most outstanding asphalt paving project of the year, outside the Chicago area.

Bridge and Structure Awards
In the past 25 years we have received 9 bridge and structure awards from IDOT, for the most outstanding bridge and structure project of the year outside the Chicago area.

Concrete Paving Awards
In the past 25 years we have received 23 Concrete Awards, 13 from IDOT for the most outstanding concrete paving project of the year, outside the Chicago area, 5 Excellence Awards from the Missouri Department of Transportation, two from the (Division of Aeronautics) IDOT, and nominated twice for a National Award from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Awards are recognition of excellent quality and timely performance of work. We take our work seriously and value the recognition we have received from others. Our real reward is knowing we have performed for our customers on every job.
